Patrol Division
Patrol Deputies are our first line responders that arrive on scene to begin investigations and are public servants who protect and serve the Greene County community. In 2024, there were 82 deputies assigned to the Greene County Patrol Division. These deputies perform a wide variety of duties but their main focus is to respond to calls for service and continuously proactively protect the community.
Greene County is the hub of southwest Missouri and has a population of over 300,000, with the daytime population increasing by thousands from people coming into the county for work or other things.
Our Patrol Deputies provide services for a wide variety of communities, one call could be in a very rural part of the county and the next be in a highly populated area. In 2024, our deputies had over 80,000 calls for service.
